This ride didn’t start out with the intention of being four days of cycling in the rain. I expected to tour around Dungog, Gloucester and then down to the Myall Coast whilst waxing lyrically about the joys of cycle touring. However, it rained and it rained and it rained. I didn’t have a coat with me, so by the end of day three I resembled a drowned rat. But somehow, it was still a grand adventure, even when I was up to my knees in mud!
